Terms and conditions
1. Booking
Once availability is confirmed, please complete the booking form above and e-mail, fax or send to me as soon as possible together with a deposit of 25%. Once received, written confirmation of booking will be sent to you. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to visit. For bookings made within the 4 week period, full payment is required. Payment should be made by cheque made payable to L Preece and sent to the address below.
2. Guests
India Cottage is only suitable for four guests if two of the guests are teenagers/active adults as the ladders stairs is quite steep. The cottage is for the exclusive use of the guests on the booking form. Sub-letting is not permitted. NO SMOKING is allowed at the property. Car parking is available for one car only. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the property.
3. Arrival / Departure
Guests are welcome at the cottage from 3pm and should vacate the cottage by 11.00 on the day of departure.
4. Cancellation
If cancellation is made 8 weeks or longer prior to the date of occupation of the cottage, no outstanding balance will be requested. However, if cancellation of the cottage is made less than 8 weeks prior to occupation, you will be liable to pay the full balance. If we are successful in re-letting the cottage, then we would be happy to re-imburse you the balance.
5. Care of the Property
India Cottage is furnished to a particularly high standard and guests should take good care of the property and leave it in a similar order as found on arrival.
We will undertake an inventory check on departure and will require payment if items have gone missing or breakages and unreasonable damage made to the décor.
6. Insurance
The owners do have a Public Liability Insurance policy in place.
7. Liability
The owners of India Cottage are unable to accept liability for loss or damage to guest’s property or for personal injury. Cars parked on the premises are at the owner’s risk.
